Check out some behind the scenes footage of recording artist Principe El Notorio’s studio session recently. The song is called ‘Wild Cowboy’.
Funny things happen on Saturday nights. I decided to take my camera out last night and just randomly take pictures.
I stumbled into an event by Tanya Wright for her new book “I Found God In My Hair.”
Thankfully she allowed me to snap photographs of the event and she even signed a copy of the book for me! I obviously was honored and appreciative.
You may have seen Tanya on shows like True Blood and Orange is the New Black, but you should check out her new series “Hairiette” which showcases her natural hair care product line.
I’ll have more pictures of the event this week, so stay tuned!
The Jordan 1 sneaker is the first design which launched in 1985. One of my favorite “colorways” of the Jordan 1 sneaker is the one called “Gucci” which was released towards the end of 2012. Apparently, it was one of the last styles out before the sneaker transitioned to the “Air Jordan Retro High OG”. When I pick my Jordans out though? I don’t think about any of that.
My fascination with the sneaker or with any of the sneakers I end up buying is of the design and the color. How those two styles work together and how I can co-ordinate it with whatever current wardrobe I have make or break whether or not I will actually purchase a sneaker.
That being said, the Gucci I’s caught my eye. When I look at them I see an obvious homage to the high fashion brand Gucci. The Black, Green and a touch of Red (or as my mom calls it “Intensified Pink”) creates a visually appealing sneaker for someone like me who often wears all black.
I actually decided to wear the pair on Black Friday because they were the only pair of sneakers I own that remind me of the African American Flag.
