With influences which include some of the most iconic, lyrically inclined MCs to ever grab the microphone and rock a stage, SharkSimms as he is known to his fans and supporters, is a gifted artist hailing from Jamaica Queens. Home to many of the biggest names the rap game has ever seen, SharkSimms honed his skills studying the craftsmanship of Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, KRS-One, Nas, Wu Tang, Jay Electronica, and Tribe Called Quest.

Enamored by the legendary Video Music Box, SharkSimms cites DJ Red Alert Saturday mixes as one of the momentous occasions for him that truly sparked his passion for the genre which he has devoted his skill set.

Picking up a pen as early as elementary school, SharkSimms would jot down his thoughts in the most lyrical sequence as he could overtime becoming better equipped at actual song composition as he reached his teenage years. Eventually what would grow was a career pursuit; to his credit SharkSimms has released Sharkus Garvey The Mixtape to great response by those in the know and is currently working on Fin4Self his debut EP featuring production assistance from Jean Blaze.

In the ever competitive market which is Hip Hop, SharkSimms is a breath of fresh air. His visuals which are all available via his Youtube Channel are creatively cinematic, capturing his perspective and preferences, an image which he vows never to compromise.
